The Houston Business Journal has announced the project finalists for the 2014 Landmark Awards.  The Newpark Technology Center Campus in Katy has moved from a nominee to one of three finalists in the Headquarters Move category.  Synchro is proud to be a part of this project as the design/construction team.  Winners will be announced at an April 24th event and in the April 25th edition of the Houston Business Journal.

Cathy comes to Synchro with over 10 years of architectural experience in the commercial building industry.  Her experience in the commercial sector includes educational facilities, automobile dealerships, gas station facilities, office buildings, and warehouses. Additionally, Cathy has interior design experience in the commercial and residential industries and engineering experience in the petrochemical field. She is currently involved with the Hempel Paint Manufacturing Facility office expansion project in Conroe, Texas.

Ashely comes to Synchro with over 18+ years of architectural experience in the commercial/residential building industry.  His experience in the commercial sector includes educational facilities, ecclesiastical, athletic, multi-family, medical, hospitality, industrial and metal buildings.  Additionally Ashely is an experienced construction administrator.   He is currently involved with the Newpark Drilling Fluids in Katy, TX and Hempel Paint Manufacturing Facility expansion project in Conroe, TX.

Synchro is very pleased to be working with Nedlaw Living Walls to build Texas’ first “Aspirated” Living Wall. The Living Wall will be located in the main lobby of the Newpark Drilling Fluids new headquarters in Katy, Texas.

The Nedlaw “Aspirated” proto type living wall draws contaminated air through the hydroponic wall by use of the Natural Convection air movement created by the stack pressure of the living wall.
